Steve - Lead pastor
I was born and raised in central Washington farming communities. My parents, first generation Christians, responded to God’s call to the ministry and became a pastor and wife team for 45 years. Yes, I was one of those “preacher’s kids.” I enjoyed a great childhood, the third of four children and the older of two brothers. Besides church activities, I kept busy working, studying, playing sports, hanging out with friends, playing in the high school stage band, and fighting with my brother (now my very close friend and confidant). I was an average kid.
As my senior year in high school began, I hosted a Bible study for my non-Christian classmates at my sister’s house. Three students, including me, showed up the first week. I kept inviting and kept meeting, and soon we had ten, then 15, then 20. By Christmas we had a high attendance of 50 students crammed in the living & dining rooms, and eight had received Christ as their Savior. I knew then that God was calling me to pastor churches with a passion for connecting non-believes with Jesus.
Since 1975, I have been privileged to pastor six churches, including LifeLink, in California, Washington, Arizona and Oregon. LifeLink is the third church I have been privileged to launch. We gave birth to LifeLink to intentionally embrace our surrounding communities with the Love of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I am convinced that He, and He alone, can restore us to God and give our life on earth real purpose. So neighbor, welcome to our website! I invite you to come worship, learn, and grow with us. Blessings!

Associate Pastor
My journey of faith began early—watching my parents give their lives to Christ during a church service left a lasting impact on me. I grew up in the church, but it was during high school that God truly grabbed hold of my life. I love how God meets us at those crossroads—there’s absolutely no room for fence-sitting when it comes to following Him!
Over the years, I’ve served in many areas including worship, teaching Sunday school, leading small groups, and even evangelizing in Africa. I felt the call to ministry from a young age, but by the time I turned 21, I decided to run from that calling. I joined the military, signing my life away for a short period of time. The military introduced me to the cyber world, where I ended up excelling. After exiting the military, I pursued a career in cybersecurity and worked with various government agencies. Life was “on the up and up,” as the world might say.
In 2019, God reminded me—loud and clear—of the call He had placed on my life. The identity I had built around my career and the pride that came with it underwent a necessary and righteous renovation. God graciously broke down everything I had constructed. From 2019 to 2022, I intentionally stepped back to prepare for ministry. I sought out mentorship, enrolled and completed Bible Institute training program geared toward church planting, and most importantly, spent as much time as I could in prayer.
In 2022, my family and I stepped out in faith, canceling the construction of a new home in North Idaho just a week after signing the contract—something only God could have made possible. We packed up and moved to Grants Pass, Oregon, to serve in the congregation at LifeLink Church, where my mentor, Pastor Steve, has been faithfully pastoring. In January 2025, the elder board invited me to join the staff as Associate Pastor.
It’s been an incredible blessing to see how God is moving in and through LifeLink Church. My family and I are honored to be part of this community and excited to continue serving for His glory and kingdom.

Kristie - Church Administrator
I was raised in Seattle, Washington and have lived in the Grants Pass area since 2014. Previous to that, my husband and I lived in Chandler, Arizona, Spokane, Washington, and Carnation, Washington where my husband, Steve, pastored.
I love administration and come to LifeLink with 10 years’ experience as a church administrator. I have a corporate background in training and education and have been privileged to teach throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. I offer several classes for adults at LifeLink.
My desire is to invest my gifting mix to share with others the great love that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has for our community. It is this purpose that I strive daily to fulfill. If you have any questions for me, just reach out. I would love to talk with you!

Pat - Assistant Administrator
I found my church home at Life Link Church about three years ago. I have lived in the Grants Pass/Williams area for approximately 60 years. My daughter and son in law have four children which keeps me hopping! I ran barrels for many years and although I no longer compete, I love the sport of rodeo. My "spare" time is spent gardening and enjoying this beautiful area where I am blessed to live.
